Course Information
This certification process is a two part program with part I consisting of five sections.  The program is an intense two day program which also shows the participants easy methods of finding important information contained within the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations.  All Participants are required to complete an exam at the end of the program which will be submitted to WSIB on your behalf.

  • Health & Safety and the Law
  • Workplace Health & Safety
  • An Introduction to Joint Health and Safety Committees (JHSC)
  • An Introduction to Workplace Inspections
  • Accident Investigation

Upon successful completion of Part I, the participant will then return to their place of employment and conduct a hazard assessment.  Once the hazard assessment has been completed they and their employer will determine what Part II programs they require to complete their certification.  Below is a list of Some Part II modules.
