Training is delivered by METI in partnership with Auspice Safety Inc. (CPO approved training provider)

Working at Heights Training for Ontario is designed for compliance with the Ontario Cheif Prevention Officer (CPO) approved Working at Heights training requirements. You will receive the most up-to-date information with hands-on instruction from industry experts and METI’s trained adult educators. Get a comprehensive overview of legislated requirements and learn the hazards and hazard controls when working at heights.

Ontario WAH Training will enable you to effectively use fall protection systems, including fall arrest and fall restraint.  Train to manage the risks of working at heights and assess and control hazards related to working at heights.

Working at heights is a common activity, but it can pose serious hazards. Falls can result in severe injuries or fatalities. Many work sites, whether within processing, manufacturing, construction or oil and gas, require the training to safely work at heights. Having Fall Protection Training from METI will give you the skills to succeed.

The Ontario provincial government tightened the rules surrounding working at heights on April 1, 2015. Effective then, all workers who work at heights and who did not possess current, recognized fall-protection training were required to comply with the new standard immediately.

By adding Working at Heights training to its comprehensive portfolio of health and safety training solutions, METI continues to develop into Atlantic Canada's premier training facilities helping businesses and individuals comply with federal and provincial regulations and legislation.
