The minimum duration for training delivery of the practical module is three and a half (3.5) hours.

The practical module covers the following topics:

  • Personal fall protection equipment (travel restraint, fall restricting, fall arrest systems)
  • Anchor points
  • Work positioning system, work access and platforms

Training includes a hands-on demonstration of equipment and procedures to ensure learners can successfully inspect and use the required fall protection equipment. There is a written test that must be successfully completed with at least a 75% mark.
